Footnote: In John 3:16 we supposedly read that believing on Jesus suffices as being equal to believing on the Father, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life." But in John 12:44 Jesus emphatically states that believing on him really means believing on the Father, "He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on Him that sent me." |
