who finds this board down about half the time? I access it from Aus, and I think its hosted in Europe, so maybe thats the issue. But most days in the middle of the day, I seem to find it down?
love,
Geoff.
Yep -- we got a little problem going on. Mark's entire server seems to be disappearing from the face of the earth on a random basis. We're suspecting that Mark has become so spiritualized that he's actually starting to ascend (taking his computer with him, evidently).
:D
But seriously, we're seeing a weird problem where his server becomes invisible in some parts of the world, but not others. One day I couldn't access the web board, while 10 miles away, Kathryn was able to. I called my ISP's tech support, and the fellow -- in India -- also couldn't see the site.
The problem seems to be quite random, and thus far Mark is stumped. It might be helpful if we could get some feedback from folks about how widespread it is and how frequently it's happening.
Just post your experiences here...

It's only been down once recently here in East Texas as I log on generally around 5:30am CST and late evening around 10pm CST

Dear Doug,
Well we need to do a traceroute when it is down.
love,
Geoff.

Sorry good fellows, never experienced a problem accessing the site at varying times of late evening / night / early morning.
But as the UK is next door to Europe, maybe I'm simply confirming the problems whereabouts???
Much love to you all.

[and apologies for not responding yet to the myriad of messages I want to chip into, am working all hours and only seem to have the time to read new posts - but hope this'll change!]

Hi Doug,
Well I think I have the problem. I will refererence a trace route from work, because I had the problem all day today, but I did a traceroute from home, no problem, and another one from a public trace route service located in NSW.

It's one hop back, on some incoming paths.

Thankyou for welcoming me, and thankyou to all the many forum members who have welcomed me.
I dearly want to add my voice to the open, honest and refreshing debate that this forum propagates.
I can't say that my views are wise, that they'll help move the debate forward.
But I can say they are selfish [lol] ;-)
By that I mean it does'nt matter if I am right, wrong, profound or just light and fluffy. Just that my probings will be views and questions that help me understand what is here and now, what happens in the hereafter [I firmly believe life starts in earnest once the physical 'death' takes place] and as the fledgling me moves forward, I hope that the many novices that come behind me [or are already here observing] will move forward also.
God bless you all. I may have been more reticent than I would have liked to be - but may that change soon.
Much love.

Well until this problem is fixed, I cannot access the board from work. The broken link appears to be permanent.
love,
Geoff.
Do you have any theories as to what could be causing this?
Greg in Florida also seems to have a permanent connection loss...

Hello Geoff,
I was thinking I have nothing to say on this thread because I know less than nothing about computer connections. Then the thought popped into my head that there may be something 'at your work' which was set up to prevent the workers from making the connection.
I got brave and decided to share the thought with you, even if I'm incorrect, it might not do any harm.
Thank you for your faith in and support of Divine Love and Its availability to all of God's children through prayer.
I pray that you are having a fun and productive day.
Your friend and sister in God's Love, Kathryn

Hi Kathryn,
No there are no things set up at work to prevent this, it is a bad router or somesuch.
Doug, I posted the traceroute, and the IP address/name of the faulty device is on that traceroute. Its not rocket science really but a bad device. Get Greg to post a trace route and its likely he will pin point the same device.
love,
Geoff.
