This idea germinated from our sweet friend Joseph as we were sharing recently how nice it would be to have a special thread devoted to praying for others or perhaps ourselves. Praying for others can have a super influence upon others as it is one of the center pieces of a Christian life. Please share here those names and stories of those whom need special prayers. Perhaps it may even be you who needs those prayers too.

Howdy friends,

I suppose the one who speaks up first needs to go first to break the ice, so here I go. Part of the reason I initiated this thread is based on my own need. Many of you know me as very transparent as this will be no exception.

My family and I are experiencing a complete financial meltdown of our business and we may lose everything we own. This is an odd place for me to be as we've had a good success for many years. This is stressful and taxing to me physically and spiritually as I ask for your prayers dear friends.

Thanks Dave, I really appreciate your love, prayers and support. Interestingly, my personal life has undergone a great transformation this year as my soul has never felt closer to God, my prayers are vital and passionate and I've been totally focused on health and fitnesss. Fortunately , because of this I'm stronger and more able to deal with this hardship.

Part of the reason for this difficulty has been my own doing as I encurred too much debt and when business revenue dropped I got into trouble. This is a humbling experience and one that is certain to teach me many lessons about frugality, living within my means and becoming less materialistic. In many ways it is certain to be not only challenging but also a good change in my greater aspiration for greater spirituality.

I'm seeking a resolution of these issues through increased prayer and desire to accept that God is a benevolent and caring Being who is mindful of our needs and is trying to help us. I feel that part of my job is to put myself into the most favorable spiritual state where positive thinking, expectations and faith make me more receptive to God's blessings.

Hi Dan,

As we spoke yesterday I will most definitely pray with you (and with Dave) about you present financial situation. We are in this together.

I want to add another prayer request of my own. Today my wife called from Tucson (200 miles away) to inform me that her mom passed this morning. My wife (Pat) needs prayers for support and strength. She is nearly exhausted caring for her mom the last few days of her physical existence.

I asked our Celestial angels to look in on Jeanne (Pat's mom), and say a little hello from me and assist her transition.

Jeanne's very lucky to have you as a son-in-law as she now has a possible link to the Divine Love and Celestial Heavens through you. My earthly father, Thomas was in darkness when he missed over and is now a seeker of God's Love because of my influence upon him. Jeanne may visit you while you are praying or studying and maybe reading the Padgett Messages over your shoulder. My father was not a religious or spiritual man on earth and now loves God with all his heart. These things he has told me.

I don't know Jeanne's life's circumstances and beliefs as she may enter a lovely plane in the spirit world. It is said that sometimes mortals wield more influence upon spirits than spirits do. No doubt that she will be paying you a visit Joseph.

Holy cow, has it been an incredible last several weeks since I first posted this prayer request. When I first posted this I had no income coming in (I'm self employed) and hadn't had any for over a month. Quite frankly, I didn't have any money to pay my bills. And...............over night (a week ago), $15,000 worth of construction contracts came through and we were provided for. In addition, I was able to replace our new truck, which I could not afford ($900 monthly payments), with an older but reliable truck. We are still not out of the woods yet as we are presently dealing with a mega tax bill with the IRS however I have faith that God is guiding our lives and providing the means to our needs. If I have one little lesson to leave behind here, it is to get out of debt and live far below your means. The present recession has hit us hard and we wouldn't be suffering so much if we weren't in debt. Frugality is the lesson of the day.

As far as I know, I'm already quite old enough (am I..? any way, I love you) to say that I love you. I was seventeen years old when I first came to know about Divine Love.

This is not a spam...:)HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! My goodness...:) HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! It really tickled my nerves. :cool: HA! HA! HA! HA HA! :)

As to Divine Love, I didn't know when or how or why it happened to me, because the sweetest thing that ever happened to me was when I met you Dan, and that is real love enough. It was my first perception of Divine love so you make yourself Dan a reference to me.

What I do... I study (Acedemically) and save (Financially) all my life.

Over the years, I've received thought impressions and CAREER GUIDANCE in my prayers for this love. To me, it was all a Psychic gift. I am no good in poetry compared to the people that live in my country. I am way below them if you could only know their level, they could even sing Dan, and dance with flying colors.

With all due respect, I was born in an elite class of the society, I must admit that man I am elite in life. I finished my school years with honors, and even up to now, I'm still in pursuit of it. So Dan, loving is the only way I can escape my marvelous mentality.

I'm already in college Dan, working as a Computer Technician as my part-time job. I'm being mindful of this work, for this job is my career. I'm taking a 4 year course: Bachelor of Science in Information Systems in a Catholic School Ateneo de Naga University and man, it's really hard. There were two gifts I've received from praying, Academic life plus Wealth and Nourishment. I do live in the Philippines and studying is the only thing we know and do.

My hopes for the future...? I'm gonna teach to have a Doctoral degree 10 years from now in order to prepare a time and place for me to be able to work abroad so i may visit you loving friends, specially you Dan.

Dan, did I make you wait long enough during the past years when I suddenly disappeared in this loving forum? I must admit, it's a choice my dear friend... should have been careful of your tender and fragile heart...:)

Thank you Juris for sharing about yourself and your ambitions. You're nearly the same age I was when I learned of the Divine Love through the Padgett Messages. Have you read them on line or do you have a book copy of them. I had recieved Divine Love when I was about 18 years old, about 5 years before I read the Padgett Messages. I'm now 59 and have been seeking the DL for all of my adult life. You seem to have a passionate desire for the DL, one that is necessary for it's inflowing and consequent transformation of your soul. Yes, perhaps we will meet someday before I pass from this earth life.

As a member of an earlier DL live-in community, we sent several people to the Phillipines back in the seventies to study pyschic surgery as this appears to be very active in your country. Perhaps you are familar with such healers.

You flatter me with your kind and loving words. I must admit I don't what I said to you in the past that had such an impression upon you however let me share with you something I have been learning over a lifetime of progression in Divine Love.

My total passion is not for another human such as my wife even though she is my mate in life here on earth and whom I love with all my heart. She cannot fulfill me like my Heavenly Father/Mother can. God is my total love and passion. The bosom of love cannot be found in another human being as the fountain of eternal love flows from God.

You are a tender soul who seeks for love and stand at the cusp of knowledge of the greatest gift in this universe; God's Divine Love. Please my dear friend, drink deep of these eternal waters and you will find a magic growing within you that no one else can give you. It allows me not to "look down" on anyone.

The way I embrace Divine Love is through both -as an intrinsic part of our soul's nature and one that is sought from without ourselves. Divine Love is very materialistic for me Dan, and also very unique. It's like the real and most important thing than anything else. It's very fundamental, and its very basic. That's how Love was and is for me. It grows from within, like a plant that I was not even aware of, like a tree that wishes to grow. What I do is to beautify and cultivate this love and when it grows I share it to you, I mean with you.:)

It's unique, rare, and precious. Something I haven't known in my experience. Due to it, i found myself, and it also found me. Dan, it has satisfied both my material and other longings. With it, I can be happy, contented and with a hand in my pocket. I fear not the future, because of it, I am utterly secured. It is very basic, very material. I have never known Love till I found it. It is a giver of life...

It's not even very poetic Dan, rather it is very real. The closest words are "down to earth" and very materialistic. It embraces the past, and forgives the future. Forgets the wrong, and uplifts what is right. It is security -with it you know and feel if there's something wrong, and you never look down on anyone. It's an Identification Card, and an ATM card at the same time -gives you an identity and also provides a money. You become secured because of your longing. You don't have to be a hero, or a "martyr" to anyone, you simply find yourself and what you're looking for.

Divine love is poetry for me, life giving, and full of colors personally. It embraces me due to my longings and it totally satisfies my nature.Due to it, I become a real human being. It's like a ticket; everytime I sing a song or write a poetry, It invites me to come closer, it is there to give me warmth. Security is the right word. I obtain it by writing poems or singing a song Dan.. The only way I obtain Divine Love is by these means. I have found myself, and because of it, i become a tangible and real angel in disguise. It changed my life, the only thing I was longing for. It wants to give me more...

It appears that it has no origin, yet it is found, inside and within your very soul and being. It becomes you, and the you, becomes part of it.

Dear Juris,

When I type the words Divine Love on a search engine such as Google there are many sites that appear that all claim to be the source of truth as to the knowledge of Divine Love including this site. Is it true that they are all correct or is it possible that perhaps only a very few have an understanding of what DL is, where it comes from and how it can be obtained?

My original search for truth, which I now understand to be a search for love, led me eventually to the Padgett Messages which are hallmarked here on the DLF. Have you read them; as they contain many messages written by angels about Divine Love? When I read them, when I was about your age, they resonated within my soul like beautiful music and led me to the ever flowing fountain of Divine Love. If I may suggest you may want to check these out yourself and let us know what you think. Perhaps you too will find something in them as did many others who come to this site like a community well searching for truth, searching for love.

I never doubt your goodness Dan. You are love and goodness.

I have found Divine Love not by the words or writings found in the Messages,your living example is the truth I found inside me. There are many references but only one truth. Many sources, one Guide.
Though I search far and wide, I would still return to the basic source, your love for me and the love I found inside. Divine Love is too solemn to be found somewhere else.

Dan, I care about our loving relationships. With you and everyone else in the forum. It's the only proof of Divine Love for me, it's the only thing I know. You never failed to make me feel loved, that's what is of importance. Regarding the availablity of DL, God in his wisdom will take care of that, but guess what we have... each other and our dear family. It's the binding of souls, the unification of the spirits. People all over the earth knows This, they have perception of this Love and how it works unbeknowest to us, the only challenge is humility, to know that God who is all knowing and all powerful loves us so dearly, who cares for everything that disturbs us.To love and be love, how's that brothers and sisters..?

Many first would be the last. and many last would be the first.

All people want peace, that's all they ask. They may not have this Love, but they can be powerful at times. Mentality is very rewarding for them, that's how they percieve love. As for my level compared to them, I
don't even know if Love exists... that is what is happening to me, that for me is humility, not to look down on anyone. Love is indeed very spiritual. I don't even know how much Love there is in you, but what do I care about? It's our relationship...

The Padgett Messages can be very powerful at times Dan, as a standard reference for any individual soul. But what is Love without me...? that is the question.

You are all love in my eyes. The passion you have is what burns inside me. It uplifts my spirit and gives me warmth. You never know how much I am thankful of the love you have for me. Our interaction is what brings us closer to each other. It goes beyond the mental and physical differences. It unites our souls.

I have not read the Padgett Messages, completely Dan but I know that there is Love greater than any article I can ever read or write. I trusted my own experience-this love that I share for you and me.

You have your own words Dan, and that what makes you special. Your uniqueness is very pleasing to me.I have already found Love in you because Love is very tangible for me. I can even identify its color; lol! its "...yellow". That's how neurotic I am. lol.

So Dan, I am already Love. I don't know if I could ever read or write something about the Padgett Messages, for that I am sad however, I would never doubt the goodness you and our family has for me, I would never look down on anybody...

You are teaching me to listen as your thoughts and words are very original and are not of the cookie cutter mentality that is so often found in dialouge. It is true that the Padgett Messages do not give reality and substance to the DL however are only a teaching aid that points the way to self discovery or more correctly God discovery of this precious substance. Like yourself and perhaps many others, I discovered DL before I learned about it intellectually through the Padgett Messages. So when I began reading the PM, they became a confirmation of an inner knowledge. There are many and perhaps most will never read the PM and yet they will find this trancendent love and begin their journey of transformation into a Divine Angel.
