Hi family,

I think this section is a little margre, we talk of prayer and we often go through phases of demonstrating our prayers in times of need, what about when things are going right?
What about thanksgiving? What about acknowledging the good and the bad. Seeing both and noticing the effects of what we have reaped in the past. If things are bad now, this might mean the old harvest is still being eaten up. It might be the time for the seven years of good grain. The harvest has not been reaped yet, dont give up on your efforts. You will get there in the end. Things take time to grow, like babies they gestate then they are born messy, then they are cared for and made clean. Spiritual rebirth is like this. Nobody said it was easy, nobody said it would be this hard. Stick at it and clean yourself up, when you are weened and on solids and speaking the truth, tell Jah and thank him for feeding you, carrying you when you thought you were alone. Always know through faith he hears you, as your faith be it unto you.

I thought I would post some prayers I found on the web, maybe we could keep it going. These are not mine, however I will add my own over the next few weeks. Just thought I would get the ball rolling. Maybe original prayers for Divine love which are not recited but heart felt and from the soul have more power? What do you think?

Lord, I kneel before you in my sinfulness, I repent of my wrongdoing and with Your help will try to avoid all occasions of sin. Your forgiveness cleanses me, washes me anew, so that I now shine out as a child of grace. Help me in my weakness, keep me strong and faithful to Your ways, Lord. Like us and help me to wear the shield of Your protection"

"Lord, my walk in life must be with You, Your Holy Spirit is my guide and my protector. Help me to focus my eyes on You, to listen to Your word, to spend time with You daily, to draw on the power and strength only You can give. Only in You can I reach my goals, walk my journeys, nourish my loved ones and share Your love with them and others. Let me be the light of You, shining for others so that they too can come to recognise Your great goodness."

Lord Jesus I place all my trust in Thee. There are times, Lord, when I feel down and lost, when it is hard to drum up faith in You, yet You never lose faith in me. I am Your precious sister brother whom You love regardless. Help me through my periods of doubt, of despair, of loneliness, of anguish, and yes, even in my times of anger with You. When I am unable to pray, let me just whisper Help, Love me I just need to get through this difficult period when all seems lost. Stand by me, Lord, in my despair." I pray now for guidance and for God the Fathers Love to come unto my open Soul.

"Lord, in these dark days of a world caught up in death and destruction, deception and lies, help me to bring Your saving goodness to all whom I meet in my daily life. Give me the courage to substitute endless hours of soul-destroying television with wholesome conversation with family and friends. Let me be a voice of calm and reason in the midst of anger; let me be Your witness to those faced with terrible choices - respect for life from its very beginning to its very end stages, the value of the family, the love and care of children, the respect for neighbour. Let me never compromise on Your teachings Lord."

"Lord, keep me faithful to Your ways, honest in my dealings with others, and truthful in my speech. Let me not be the instrument to harm others through gossip, even if I know it be true. Help me to 'put my house in order' so that my every word, deed and action is carried out in true honesty and complete truthfulness without hurting or taking from others. Let me never fall into the trap of 'everyone does it!' Or see dishonesty as being justified in any way. Lord forgive my dishonesty and help me to change and make amends."

"Dear Lord, I give You pride of place in my heart, my home, my school, my workplace. Let me forever place You in the centre of my thoughts, words and deeds, my relaxation time, so that with You and through You my life is lived for You. Let my life not be dictated by materialiasm, more possessions, greater fame but rather help me to keep You as my rock, my stability, my focus in all I do and say."

Dear Jackie,

Your very welcome, I'm glad you liked them. Here are three more.

Lord Jesus, I cry out to you in my pain and sorrow. Give me the strength to praise and Glorify Our Father. In my sadness when prayer is difficult for me, hear my heartfelt cry, Father, Mother, Son, Lord Jesus, my need for You is great yet my tortured mind finds it difficult to see beyond this darkness. Be near me Lord, hear my weak cry of Mercy. Lead me from my despair into Your comforting arms, until I can finally rest with You."

O God, You know my weaknesses, that I am poor and destitute, that I cannot do, nor even think any good without You. Arise up then; strengthen me with grace, that I may fervently execute what I have firmly resolved, and not only avoid all evil You forbid, but also perform all the good You command, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Lord Jesus, I believe, The time may be delayed, the manner unexpected but the answer is sure to come. Not a tear of sorrow nor a breath of desire, poured out in prayer to Jah will ever be lost. I place all my trust in Thee. Amen

Love of the heart inflame my heart; flow into my heart; Strength of the heart support me; Mercy of the heart, pardon my heart; Patience of the heart grow not weary of me. Heart; Kingdom of the heart of God and of the Son Jesus, be in my heart; Wisdom of the heart, teach my heart; Zeal of the heart, consume my heart."

My Dear Lisa,

Prayer is such a wonderful and powerful thing.
People pray mostly for the wrong things

I like how folks come up with different Prayers. And some of them sound real good.

Well arent we really thankful that our Elder Brother, Jesus, and not our 'Lord Jesus' has come up with the Prayer of Prayers.
The only Prayer that needs to be offered to the Father.

I get lots of folks sending me al kinds of Prayers and yes some of the contents are surpisingly good. Real good. Pity there is always some untruth somewhere that sticks out like a sore thumb.

So what do I do? Just send them our Prayer in return. :-)

Lots of Love,

George

No Matter how consumed and deviated we may be from our paths, must always know exactly how to get back to it.

Loving but with a firm gentle hand that always points to the Truths Revealed Anew.

Dear George,

You are so right about some prayers haviing a wrong thought. It bothers me a little when I hear prayers ending with "in Jesus name" and I have to remind myself that for the better part of my life I prayed like that also.

I did send an invitation for all to view the little program I created in Flash of The Prayer. But only five of the thirty or so I sent it to responded so I don't know if anyone else got it. Of course, they may not have recognized my email address or maybe I went to their bulk mail. Of those who did see it, I got wonderful loving letters back and I am grateful.

If anyone mistakenly deleted my email and still wants to see the program, let me know and I will be happy to send a link.

Dearest George,

Thankyou for your guiding hand, but may I remind you that prayers to Our God and Our Father need not be repititious, to be of value to his often misguided children. We all need different help and human expression is many and varied, you would not have me believe that you were a dictator or a witch burner general because I am expressing these prayers in away other than your totalatarian beliefs, would you?

I believe that our lives are complicated enough without applying rigid rules with regard to prayer and spiritual development. Alot of people lack confidence in their views and opinions, I am not one of them. This might in some circumstances be fool hardy, but I happen to believe that I am a defender of the Faith.

Jesus of course is my brother, and was named such when he was mortal. In his death, Our God, his Father, Our Creator did glorify him and claim him back into Heaven and into his arms and upon his rightful throne. Lord is just one of the many titles my beloved brother has. He is both Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Dearest George you must look past the titles and look to see past the difficulties we have all addressed with words and the power of terminology.
We belonging to the forum have addressed this very issue on many occassions. You also must look past the prayer and it's words and see not only the value in the communication, but also the acceptance that it was not addressed to you. You must firstly identify if the communication is good and true.

Do you honestly believe it is a hinderance, or is it an annoyance to your current beliefs?, for now it is I, who take you by the hand to lead you back to truth. This belief of mine comes both from the teachings revealed anew and of my soul development. I have assimilated many truths and have made them my own, hence I am able to identify if something is good or bad.

I would like more people to have the confidence to share there thoughts with God as their Father, not lacking in confidence for fear that they might be reprimanded by a slightly rigid brother, I think maybe you could think more closely about others, your family, and work on encouraging what is good. In praises and seeking to join in with a beautiful prayer of your own.
It is all well and good, speaking the only prayer which need be said to the Father, but when need is'nt everything would it not be nice to hear of some healthy conversation. Do you really think that when you become a spirit that the above prayer you suggested will be the only thing you say to Our God? How much more interesting will it be to him to have an intelligent conversation.

I believe I am starting to have a very healthy relationship with the proven God, the God of Jesus, my God, the proven God the God of the Hebrews. The one God, no matter what our beliefs or faith. Jehovah Our God is One God, their is no other, although he has gone by many names in an effort to reclaim is errant children over the millenia. Not to scare you off, but you must broarden your horizons and see that the essence of all religion is the belief in God. If your God be Jah, then he is the true God and a God of loving kindness, pardoning error but by no means forgiving sin without atonement. He is also slow to anger and might not take too kindly to your dictates on prayer. By all means give your loving opinion but try not to speak for the Almighty. Who are you to say that the above prayers are no good. I am incensed and would like to represent all the talented and timid people which for the above reason may not want to share there personal prayers on this forum.

Prayer is suppose to connect us to God in the highest, you must be aware that what we seek with Our God is a progressive living relationship. Also not only is Jesus my Lord he is also the rightful King of mankind. I believe I owe him by rapture and am ashamed at the way we his family screamed for his Death. He has my rapture and my eternal thanks for offering his mortal life so that we as mortals and spirits could be reunited to Our Creator, for which our punishment has been since our turning out of the garden of eden. Him who was slaughtered from the foundation of the World. Not only was Jesus about in the beginning, but mortals did take his life this time round too. Blood for blood, Jesus sent his Angel to tell the congregations what would shortly take place in an effort to aid them in turning back from the misdeeds and going after other inanimate Gods which could neither see nor hear. He sent his Angel to advise and speak of a New Heaven and a New Earth, where those that speak love and truth will one day find their home in New Heaven. Only if they seek the Divine Love of God with their whole heart, soul and mind. Above dad, mum, sister, brother, son or daughter. If you cannot love God above these people within your heart then you do not deserve Our God. I simply put it like this, what do you give the man that has everything? the answer I give, is your Soul Love, this is the only thing you posess which is truly yours and a desirable thing to Our Lord Jesus and Our Creator God. Our God, Our Salvation for without which their would have been no mortal Saviour in the name of Jesus, had it not have been for Our Fathers loving kindness and his desire to accept his Sons offer of his life and sacrafice to reunite us unto him.

Dearest George, if after reading this you still think that I am deviated from the truth or lacking in truth, I would be further grateful if you could point out any apparent error, and also address the issue with which you were able to judge and critise, in a nice way of course the efforts and beliefs of others, this in addition to the creative process operating within the human condition.

Dear Jackie, I would like to comment on what your opinion is relating to prayers which you do not particulary like. I have my dislikes also, in particular prayers which worship Jesus as God. Please see past the doctrinal up bring, which both you and I have been introduced to when growing up. It was not that wrong, it did serve a purpose in making Our Brothers name known to us, at that time, growing up his teaching and love was not as brother, but his death was something famous and unusual to me and todays society. His death was another form of capital punishent, he was known then as an antagonist because he taught something other than doctrinal worship, he spoke of love and forgiveness. When he chose his apostles and his light workers my sister, which you are, he told them of the power of faith, and he said what you believe in my name may come true if you are believing that he is in contact with the living God, and that he the antaganist was the very Son of God. He also said your faith be it unto you, what you use to believe and pray was not wrong, it just contained an abscence of love for Our Creator.

Much love to you all,
especially George and Jackie, whom having the courage of their convictiions may have learned something today, if only my inflated and just opinion. I have learned to listen, sometimes and be grateful and have identified the loving efforts of my family George to keep me lovingly on the straight and narrow.

I personally owe much thanks to Amy, Kathryn and Doug whom actually saw me through a rather difficult period of my life, probably the most difficult time of my life and through their individual sound and consistant advice kept me on the straight and narrow. I personally think fondly of that and will always be grateful for the benefit of their soul understanding.

Much Love to you all
Love
Lisa

Hi All,

Jackie, the prayer file is awesome! I do apologize for not looking at it sooner - it's been a busy week...

My only nit to pick, if I had to pick a nit, would be over the phrase "our false teachers" Some have concluded that this sounds a little gentler, less accusatory, with the "our" left out.

It's very professional! Is there any way that one can stream that from a web site? That would be fun...

Lisa and George, you guys will probably be best buddies after you get to know each other better. Why do I say that? Because you're both much alike in some ways - very FIRM in your beliefs :)

I know that George really loves "the Prayer" because it works so powerfully for him. I do agree that it packs a punch (just try Jackie's file), but at the same time, I haven't recited it in years. We each will find words and forms of prayer that work best for us, because, as you say, Lisa, our relationship with God is a personal one...

Love...

Jackie

Dear Doug,

I'm glad you liked my little program. Although I call it a "labor of love", I received much in "love" benefits just putting it together.

I decided to quote the prayer exactly as written in "Angelic Revelations of Divine Truth" changing only to first person to maked it personalized.

I do have it in HTML although I would probably add a "preloader" for the web. Also, I would either have to change the music or get permission to use it. Or perhaps my son, who is a professional musician could find the time to record something. "Great is Thy Faithfulness" is my favorite song. I sometimes sing it to God as part of my worship to Him, for I love Him so.

Love your sister,
Jackie

Dear family in Divine Love,

I love you, and appreciate each of you (including myself :-) for our passionate and free human spirit. How blessed to be alive with the Grace of God’s Love in our souls!

I pray that this Love shine through me like the sun to warm the dark corners of my life. I pray that I be in tune with the harmony of God’s creations, the tree and the bird, with the delightful note of eternal love. I pray that I might be an example of the Christ Love as my brother, Jesus, is.

My prayers are aspirations with no words, only the pure desires of my soul. And God hears every sigh that escapes from my heart, and answers every soul-wish with His Divine Love. We speak together with the language of eternal love. I cannot articulate this language in words, it is between our souls, God’s and mine. But I share my hallelujah-song with you in my joy, my love.

Always, your sister,

Amy

Hehe...
My Dearest Lisa,
I in no way am thinking you are deviated from the truth and was merely making a general comment. Was not directed at you or any one in this forum. But I am glad it has made you reflect and clarify and once again affirm the truths as we here know them to be.

Love you dear sister,

George

PS: Well ... Amy puts it best. She is a very advanced soul in everyway. Wait till you meet her :-) and Kathryn and the rest :-)
Love you All!

Dear Father and Brother,

Dear Father, Thanks be to you for the light and the darkness; Thanks be to God for the hail and the snow; Thanks be to God for shower and sunshine; Thanks be to God for all things that grow; Thanks be to God for lightening and tempest; Thanks be to God for weal and woe; Thanks be to God for His own great goodness; Thanks be to God for what is, is so; Thanks be to God when the harvest is plenty; Thanks be to God when the barn is low; Thanks be to God when our pockets are empty; Thanks be to God when again they overflow."

"Come unto me my sister, my brother and fear not! Have I not sighed for thee, wept for thee, died for thee? Do I not live for thee? Fear not.
Do I not watch o'er thee? Do I not heed thee? Doest thou not cling to me, cry to me, need me? Fear not.
Mine eye is upon thee, my arms around thee To keep thee and guard thee Now that I've found thee. Fear not.
Trust in me. Call to me! I am so near to thee! Thy Lord and thy King, and brother - Ah how canst thou fear me? Fear not.
Yes Lord - I come to thee, seeking Your Love and guidance. Love me Lord, my Brother. Love me my Father, My God - Lord I repent." Amen

I thought these were nice, hope you do too.
Love
Lisa
