Dear divine love family,
I received this message some days after Mary was "tickling" me with her desire to write on this subject of the divine mind. I would appreciate your feedback on how you interpret the concepts she's trying to get through my poor brain :-)
Loving you,
Amy

I am here with you, and I am Mary, the mother of Jesus, and your true friend. I am your sister in Christ, and I have come with my beloved brother, John, who has lived and served in Divine Love beside me since our time on earth. We are both followers of our Master, Jesus, in that we pray to our Heavenly Father for His Divine Love, and have received that Love to the extent that it has transformed our souls into at-onement with His Soul.
We wish to write upon the subject of the divine mind and how one may recognize the perceptions that flow from it.
The material mind in its functioning depends upon the input of data received by the five senses of the body; this data is received throughout one’s life beginning even before birth. As one goes about making decisions on how to react to a certain situation, the material mind draws from this physical data to determine the results that will come about.
Now at the same time the soul has its perceptions of love and faith that may or may not be developed, depending upon how you apply your thoughts, desires, and will. If you do begin to acknowledge these spiritual perceptions and follow their lead, you will see the effects of the higher laws at work in and through your life, which serve to strengthen your command over what we will call your "divine mind."
You might try this exercise: When you are faced with a problem and do not know how to solve it, practice looking beyond what you see with your material senses and activate your faith to know that something more is there, just beyond your perceptions at that moment. When you are ready to see beyond the problem into the more attenuated spiritual reality that is also present, you may begin to understand the truth "behind" the seemingly vexing situation.
In any given moment we are "where" we are because of the workings of laws. If we seek to understand why we are at a particular juncture in our life, we may momentarily see beyond our quandary and begin to accept that we are present with the "answer" as well as the "question."
I was helping you understand this concept the other day when you were listening to the song about the "streets with no name." You live on a particular street that is named "Dakota." You see the street and its relationship to other streets in time and space. However, just as the physical street exists, there also exists a street that is not confined by the time and space you are familiar with. Upon this street there are spirits and spiritual conditions that can just as easily be perceived by your soul perceptions as your material senses perceive the physical place you live.
When you use the perceptions of love and faith, you extend your senses beyond what your material mind is familiar with and open the veil, just a little, to understand the spiritual realities of your life.
What might this spiritual reality look and feel like? Most important, you become aware of a sense of purpose and a sense of "place" that you are loved by God. You are less concerned with matters that have no lasting consequence to this true sense of yourself. For instance, when considering whether to buy a new car or fix the old one, you may worry about the issue of spending this amount of money or that amount of money. When you extend yourself beyond the "issue" and tap into your divine mind, you will calmly realize where "you" are, and how best to proceed. You understand that money is only a tool used by you to accomplish your goals, as is the car. With love and faith activated you immediately understand how best to accomplish your goals, and the problem of "how" becomes solved.
This is a good start, my dear sister, and we will continue this dialog with you at another time. We love you and thank you for this opportunity to write. Continue in your prayers for Divine Love and trust that you are progressing well in your soul development and your faith.
We are Mary and John.
Amy's note: I later thought of an example of how to apply my divine mind to solve a potential disagreement with a loved one: A good friend promises to spend an evening with me but changes his mind at the last minute. I had truly looked forward to this evening because we have a wonderful time together, and he makes me feel good about myself. My material mind (and senses) only recognize that I am alone, which makes me feel abandoned and I become angry with him. My divine mind (soul's perceptions) allows me to look beyond the moment into what is "real": I am always loved by him, as I am always loved by God. I can understand that he has not stopped loving me even if he is not physically with me, and my love goes to him uninterrupted.

Dear Amy,
This is very helpful! I have known that we have the ability to see beyond our physical limitations, but I keep failing to put it into practice. I will try more diligently to see the "big picture," the real happenings behind, and parallel with, the material aspect of our daily experiences and opportunities.
I will be looking forward to the next episode of the "divine mind" explanations from our celestial friends; I trust that you are able to grasp their meaning quite well, thank you.
Lots of love. Have a great day. Kathryn

Dear Amy,
What a beatiful message. Helps to put the soul in ascendancy over the mind. You react out of Love and not your senses.
The outcome is certainly beatiful and so much more pleasing.
I am putting this into my daily practice with everyone and finding a great change taking place.
With lots of love,
George

i like this message a lot!!
Dear Amy,
I love you and I thank you for inviting me to share my thoughts on the topic of Divine Mind. After reading this message, I kept thinking about a previous message that Mary and John gave you, entitled “Invite yourself into your soul” (Feb 2 2002).
In this message we are told that when we seek and receive Divine Love, higher spiritual laws are called into operation. One being the law of attraction, whereby the Divine Love received in the soul calls for more of itself and another one that is mentioned is the law of progression. Also, Judas has also written about the Law of Divine Love, Whereby we are compelled to respond to it. Keeping this in mind, that partaking of God’s Love has called into operation these laws, among many, we have a higher vision that we must try to comprehend. If we can acknowledge these laws and have faith in their operation upon our souls, could this be the Divine Mind, or the “vision of our souls” that are being brought into activity? Whereby we choose to accept a higher reality of these laws manifesting themselves in various “forms” that we each, individually experience? Does Divine Mind suggest Divine Laws and our faith, acceptance and knowingness of them?
These are just a few of my thoughts. Thanks for inviting me to share. I eagerly wait for the continuation of this wonderful topic. Although I find myself with more questions than answers, I like it!
I love you and often thinking of you.

Hello dear family
Forgive me if I’m not on the correct wavelength here but when I read the message it seemed to point to our souls comprehension of the spiritual laws and the strengthening of our material mind to grasp these laws, to put this in an example, if we sit down and pray, our material mind is only aware of us praying, but what could be happing on a spiritual level is that a undeveloped spirit could witness what we are doing and gain an interest in this ‘new’ thing called divine love, he will then seek a higher spirit to explain things, meanwhile our pray has helped another soul and this good deed may help us on our path of living in harmony with god’s law and his love.
So to me a divine mind means our mind (be it spiritual or material) striving to understand what effects our daily decisions have, not just on us, but the whole earth and the spiritual heavens
Hope this makes sense, all my love
Dear Rob,
Wow, when I first started on my path I can remember feeling an extremely dark presence in my room. Having never experienced anything like this before I was petrified with fear, maybe thats what happened, maybe someone was just interested.
Sorry to be off the subject
With Love,
Jase

Dear ones,
Thank you for discussing your thoughts about the "divine mind."
It intrigues me to see how effortlessly a child is aware of the true condition of someone’s thoughts and feelings on both the physical and spiritual level. A common story: A child is in the company of a man who is trying not to show his sadness at the funeral of a dear friend. The child places her hand on his knee, looks into his eyes, and says with complete sincerity, "Don’t be sad, your friend is very happy today."
Although a child has not had the chance to develop her soul perceptions to any great degree by receiving Divine Love, she is still close to what is real.
I believe free will is critical to developing our "divine mind." I just posted to the board a message that Werner received last year about free will that discusses its importance to our spiritual progression:
http://divine-love.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=2915
Until children are discouraged from expressing themselves openly and honestly (for this is what we want to do from the beginning), they easily plug into their ability to respond to the world in love and faith. We are all souls first, and, as young children, we are adept at showing our souls.
Free will is one of the greatest attributes of our soul; it is what we use to first acknowledge our heart’s desires, then to fulfill our desires. I think of it as a muscle that we must never stop using because it is what leads us out of the darkness surrounding us.
I agree with both ideas that in order to develop our divine mind we first receive the Divine Love to develop our perceptions of love and faith, and then, through our free will, we apply our thoughts and desires to understand (and see) the workings of the higher spiritual laws in our lives.
Jase’s experience of sensing the dark spirit when he prayed is an example of becoming aware (once again) of the spiritual conditions that always surround us. It is kind of scary when we have "turned off" these perceptions for so long that it seems unnatural. Quite the opposite is true!
I love you, my dear family, and thank you for your feedback. Please let’s talk more!

Dear Amy and others!
It’s been a long time since I shared my thoughts with you on this forum. Well, here they are! Presumably the Divine Mind does not just ‘pop-up’. It’s a gradual process building it. But as I’ve learnt from previous channeled messages and messages on this forum, there are two kinds of mind: Divine and Material. Souls with material mind developed to the greatest extent live in the Sixth sphere. They might not have any DL in their souls and/or any DM. I suppose that some portion of DL is a prerequisite for [some portion] of DM. Amy, just as Mary said in the message to you, Now at the same time the soul has its perceptions of love and faith that may or may not be developed, depending upon how you apply your thoughts, desires, and will. If you do begin to acknowledge these spiritual perceptions and follow their lead, you will see the effects of the higher laws at work in and through your life, which serve to strengthen your command over what we will call your "divine mind."
Material mind is not confined to the data it gets through senses of our body. As Mary said, this data is received throughout one’s life beginning even before birth. And after we die. What MM does is a statistical analysis: what pays of and what doesn’t. Of course that depends on values and ‘the interface’, our physical or soul body. What gives joy, what’s neutral and what gives pain. Interface might change over time, of course.
DM is different. Mary portraits it: we… may momentarily see beyond our quandary and begin to accept that we are present with the "answer" as well as the "question." It’s interesting that she pointed out first the answer and the question. And then the use of the word ‘momentarily’.
Let me describe my experience: when I try to explain some concepts to other people or myself, or how things or human psyche work, I get an animation. Or a whole data structure along with a map of feelings: whether I should feel comfortable with certain action in the sense it’s in accordance with Law of Love or whether there is a better solution. The data structure is really complex – it’s not just a simple yes or no and ‘an animation’ is essentially a cartoon clip showing how things are interrelated and what effect have they things in the cartoon on each other.
But the real beauty that I get the answer almost immediately. I spend a few seconds to concentrate and the answer is there. It’s now so much asking, it’s more like focusing your attention or interest. Just compare it to the focusing your eyes on an object. Compare it to the process of seeing with your own physical eyes or ‘looking around’. You are interested what’s in a room and you step into the room. What you see at first is a larger picture of the room. But then you can look at the ceiling, floor or come closer to see each object in detail. What I wanted to do is to draw a parallel between seeing with our eyes and getting a highly coherent info from somewhere. Coherency is in my opinion inherent only to the truth and at the same time its greatest attribute. It is said that we get caught on a lie sooner or later. Just because our memory, interests are not coherent. Or ‘at peace with each other’ as one might say.
Let me describe my feelings about coherency a little bit further: I am convinced what I looked at was absolutely coherent. That it was the Truth. As opposed to what I saw. What I saw or in other words perceived – this is no way absolute. But it has a glimpse of absoluteness in it in the sense that if I look better again I get the same information but from a different angle. A view from a different angle never contradicts a view from original angle but it perfectly ‘fits into the picture’. Or if you focus on a small detail of the original object: you can see how it fits into the picture.
But this absolute reality is not absolute in a way that it never changes: it’s on a constant change and just by ‘seeing’, ‘focusing eyes’ or ‘showing interest’ you change the reality. You are a part of this reality and your every action or even thought changes it. Maybe it would be better not to say that reality is absolute, but rather that this ‘style of viewing/getting info’ looks at something absolute, but never sees the whole picture. Why? First, because people have a limited focus and even CSs can’t see the whole picture at once. And even if they did… No, that can’t be, because such a spirit would have to look at himself too. He changed himself while gathering info of everything else and while he analyses himself (looks at him/her-self) he changes also. So, even focusing or to put it nicer: history of your interests ‘adds value’ to the reality.
To sum up: I said that ‘I get a highly coherent info from somewhere’. I still haven’t explained the word ‘somewhere’. Now I come to the point where I’m guessing. I try to remember how it is when I do 1) a normal premise-premise-conclusion reasoning 2) do as previously described and get a highly coherent info from somewhere’ 3) I have a conversation with my Celestial spirit or so to believe.; Then one is supposed to have: 1) a material mind; 2) divine mind, but not all the people, only those who received DL. To complicate it a little bit further: there is a mind of soul and mind of body-brain.
I wanted to write that ‘I am confused’ about differentiating a DM and a Celestial spirit but then I got a feeling this is not right, and when I define myself a ‘being confused’ I won’t get to the truth because I’m doing a self restraint. I remembered that CSs are directly plugged to DM and that I read in one message that they live in a kind of ‘information society’ where there are no secrets and truth is shared among those spirits. Soul has a DM interface to God’s DM where all the information is stored. This does not mean that a CS knows everything but it can ask God and get an answer. What he sees depends on his soul development.
To repeat one of previous paragraphs: ###DM is different. Mary portraits it: we… may momentarily see beyond our quandary and begin to accept that we are present with the "answer" as well as the "question." It’s interesting that she pointed out first the answer and then the question. And then the use of the word ‘momentarily’. ### She refers to it as a DM ( serve to strengthen your command over what we will call your "divine mind." ). The answer and the question are question are all the same because they are essentially like a focusing your eyes: you focus them on a detail they see. Then you get another picture and then you choose another detail to focus them at… And yes, the result is prompt. I am convinced what I’m experiencing is not just making conclusions out of premises. But there is now way I can prove it to other people, who are convinced that my subconsciousness it at work. What’s your experience?
I also liked very much a message ‘A new form of communication. January 18th, 2003’, that was received by Hans. It was a completely new sensation... During the day, when I longed to be in contact with Judas, I felt his presence, and all of a sudden, an enormous package of information flooded me. I say "flooded me," because this information did not come in form of phrases or sentences, little by little, by drops, so to say, nor in a form of a conversation, but as a torrent that made me feel dizzy.
How to tell the difference between accessing God’s DM and talking to a CS with in ‘package exchange mode’?
But I agree that contents of ‘package exchange’ cannot be quickly and easily described in words: "It happened when I perceived your thoughts that seemed so clear and wonderful, but when I tried to capture them on paper, so much got lost of their content. But now, it is not a single thought, but many... a 'mental structure,' if I may put it this way." It’s all clear in my mind, but when trying to fully explain other people what ‘is the information that I get’ the best I can tell them that it’s mostly about psychology and relations among people and truths about the workings of human mind and hearth. But when I’m in a right conversation and ‘get into the right mood’ I can tell people ‘my views’. Well, the problem is that I can talk for hours about what I can think of in a second…
This was my contribution. Please tell me where I didn’t get it right.

Dear Jankomil,
I actually have been able to "get a picture" of what you are conveying here :-) Truth from the perspective of God's Mind (what we could say is absolute) can only come to us in "pieces." And because what we perceive one day is only a part of the picture, through soul development we are able to see more and more of the picture as God might see it.
The pictures before our eyes are what we need to see and understand at this moment. The piece I see is the exact piece I need to move forward in my spiritual progression. I don't lament not having seen a truth that becomes clear to me at a later time ... I can accept that I see it now, and move on.
With this in [divine] mind :-) I realize that the Celestial Spirits help us see the bits and pieces that we need to progress. Their will is aligned with God's Will that we become at-one with Him in Love, therefore they are more than qualified to help us along.
My mother, Kathryn, shares a joke about herself when she doesn't know if a certain thought is a product of her own mind or a that of an angel's. She gets this little thought, "Just go ahead and tell us how you feel about it, dear." In the long run, does it matter who produces a loving and helpful thought? Most certainly not to the angels! :-)
Going by "feel" also helps me see more of the picture. I just relax in a prayer and feel love, and voila! I get the idea. I like words, but because they have to squeeze through my limited brain, they fail me sometimes.
I love you, and thank you for sharing your ideas. I realize that we may verbalize differently, but I feel your love. :-)

Dear Amy and Jankomil,
We have so very much to learn! I have a few times received stuff I cannot interpret, but I learned that all is interrelated. Absolutely everything. We are so far from that perspective now, what fun lies ahead?
Incidentally I have a feeling we might just get more on the "Divine Mind" It is something Padgett never got to.
Much love,
Geoff.

Dear Amy and Geoff,
Yes, as Geoff said, ‘all is interrelated’. I used the word ‘coherent’. If something holds true, it should be coherent both with the [absolute] reality and with other people's statements about reality.
But nevertheless I’m still interested in making a ‘cognitive map’ of basic categories of Celestial live. Just like we humans take water, air, speech or food as granted and all these thinks make our environment. More, we couldn’t live without them. We perfectly know how to differentiate water from air; even more, we can tell apart different kinds of mineral water, tea, juice, air.
If we ever want progress to those spheres, we have to make ourselves at home with basic elements of celestial life. Of course I’m not saying only intellectual knowledge is sufficient, but we have to have both deeper understanding and of course a great amount of Love. With Love in our hearths the world looks a more pleasant place for us. This way we approach to the point/angle of view of the blessed spirits and they can share with us more.
Of course, Amy, it does not matter so much from where does a loving thought come from. It’s of utmost importance that we implement it. But at this stage, I’d like to ‘colonise’ the New World. Just as I was an atheist just a few years ago and ‘the other world’ was for me just something dark, unknown and horrifying, something we, mortals will never even get a clue of. I was afraid to get in touch with spirits and even guardian angel. How could I tell them apart? But now, with the help of God’s love for me, Padgett’s and your messages and talking to you, I feel myself at home with good spirits. I’m in good spirits :).
For now I’d like to know what’s the difference in feeling body mind, MM, DM; CS and a lower spirit. Love, surely, but our perceptions must become more subtle/refined to start feeling the difference? Word impression or a packet exchange with CS/S…
Instead of just saying that we are so far from that perspective now, let’s also say: go there!
Love to you both,
:) Jankomil
