I am a new member, I logged on to see if someone could help me to understand fully about the Divine Love. I have been on new-birth.net web-site for about 5 nights and and everything I learned about Jesus's death "his blood has washed us clean" is disputed on the site. I also have been praying the Divine Love prayer 3 times a day, and asking God to help me to comprehend his awesome love. I just do not want to a misguided christian, I would appreciate any one's assistance regarding these deep questions. Thank you, your brother in Christ, Don.

Dear Tiger 777

Your questions are quite valid and I will share from my experiences. My study of the Bible for 30 years led me to learn to translate from the Hebrew and Greek and my findings startled me. I found that Jesus' mission was "to bear witness to the truth." In John 5:24 he discloses the obtaining of eternal life without in any way referencing his forthcoming crucifixion or any importance to be connected to it. The article Jesus' Mission at the site listed below called Bible Cocoons gives details on this. Tiger, some experience an all at once inrushing of the Divine Love, while for others it is incremental. If a man has been dying of thirst on a desert, a glass of water will be like manna from heaven to him, but to me, its just more of the same. I sense that you have been growing spiritually for some time and probably have received some portion of the Divine Love over the years without knowing what it was. True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus by Padgett gives dialogues from Jesus himself. As I approached reading these materials, it happened........I recognized the voice of my Shepherd. You know he had said that His sheep know his voice and another they will not follow. Just before his resurrection Jesus had prayed that we may be one with the Father as He was. Jesus wanted and still wants us to have an at-onement with the Father. This is altogether different from "be ye transformed by a renewing of your minds." which is referenced in the Bible. It is not a matter of words in particular used in prayer. It is a matter of longing by the soul. I pray this: "Father, I ask that you so fill my soul with your Divine Love that there remains no room for anything else." Tiger, its happening, bit by bit. Within 3 months, my interest in things of a sinful nature has diminished dramatically. In fact, I have a mind-set that anything which is counterproductive to my having an at-onement with God is repugnent to me. My task is to mainly consciously long for the Divine Love. and trust God that in his wisdom he will continuously send it as is good for me. A wise parent will not give a child more on his plate when the child isn't even eating what is already on his plate. I have a full plate and God, through his messenger of the Holy Spirit is spoon feeding me the Divine Love, respecting that I am but a babe. Tiger, if you genuinely want the Divine Love and have asked for it, it is now time to exercise faith that it is forthcoming.

hope this helps,
harry

Hi Don,

Well, I suspect that there are many who are more qualified to
explain and help you understand about God's Divine Love than I
am. But you will find that not much surpasses reading more of the
messages which were received by Padgett and Samuels.

So my first suggestion is to keep reading at new-birth.net and
other linked sites, like truths.com. I know that this process can
seem a bit frustrating, since it is uncomfortable to be a confused
follower of anything and it is clear that reading and
understanding will take time.

But it is clear that what the messages you have read had to say
appeals to you, and that you have taken the most important step,
which is to pray for the inflowing of Divine Love into your soul.

After all, I am at times a confused member of the Divine Love
Fellowship, and a confused follower of the Padgett messages.
This seems to be due, at least in part, to attempting to use an
underpowered faculty, namely the mind, to attempt to
comprehend something that is best experienced and practiced,
rather than intellectually absorbed and digested. True, it seems
that the mind is heavily involved in envisioning what may be
possible through fulfilling the promise of Divine Love, and in
correcting misconceptions, but the inspiration, vision and guidance
that become more and more available to us as our 'soul senses'
develop with receipt of God's Divine Love offer much more than
the mind may be capable of at a given time.

Consider that there is something that guided you and your mind
to this site, and which responded to what you read with a feeling
that you have not felt elsewhere. Am I correct? When you start
to 'tune in' to this voice, you will find that it tends to guide your
thoughts and your mind as much as it responds to your thoughts.
Sometimes it may be that this voice is your own inner guidance,
at other times it may actually be through communication of
thoughts with your spirit guides (who, at this point, include
celestial Angels.)

The two best metaphors for the Divine Love which I have found
are the rays of the sun, which shine on the earth and provide the
energy for all life to exist here. The second is mother's milk, by
which the substance of the mother's body is taken in by the
hungry infant, and becomes the substance of the child's body.
(And those cynical folk say it is just random evolution that we are
mammals. I think it is so that we have many examples all around
us of how God's spiritual laws function, if we are both discerning
enough and simple enough to see them.)

I look forward to responses from others and to how you feel
about them.

Welcome!

Incarnadine

Dear brother in God's Love, Don,

Welcome, indeed, to our humble and hopefully loving site. You have been given some truthful and useful information from divine friends. It is the love and caring from their souls which they give, with the intent to help you find your way toward at-Onement with God, that is of the most valuable help.

Even though you may not be aware that you feel this love from fellow seekers of truth, it is there and is real-spiritual energy; your soul can perceive its presence. If a person is reciting some text he has read, but doesn't say it with passion, isn't behind his words with belief in his heart and faith in his soul, other will not be inclined to listen or believe in what is being said.

Nothing happens by accident. God's wondrous laws govern our every move and thought. We sometimes like to believe that we are victoms, so we don't have to take responsibility for ourselves, but that does not change the equation, it just postpones our willingness to deal with it appropriately. You were guided here as a result of your desire to know the truth.

When you seek truth with sincere, heartfelt longings, you will be guided to find what you are looking for. It is helpful if you can trust God to guide you in your quest; it is important to manifest your faith in His Loving Care for His children. Follow the dictates of your heart. Desire to develop the highest potential of your soul. Keep striving and praying and never give up.

You are on the highest pathway toward at-Onement with your Creator (in my humble opinion). Continue to pray for an inflowing of God's Grace - Divine Love - which has the power to transform the souls of His prayerful children into Christs, as Jesus exemplified. He told his followers that all the things he did, they could also do with the power of God's Love in their souls.

May you be abundantly blessed in your spiritual progression. May you find encouragement in your daily expression. I will answer specific questions, to the best of my ability, if you'd like. Others on this board are highly qualified to give spritual information which you might find helpful in your soulful search for God. His will is that we become at-One with Him in Love.

Have a blessed, love filled day. Your sister in the Christ Love, Kathryn

Good morning and welcome Don.

Your mind is trouble, yet your soul rejoices. Well, at least that was how I felt when I first found/read the messages on the website for the first week about two years ago. But I prayed and kept on reading and the mind was less troubled as I felt the tingling sensation each time I prayed.

I came from a Catholic background and tried to study the bible with ineffectiveness even though I did finish reading the bible in both English and Vietnamese. But through out my life, I have always been drawn into the unknown and spiritualily. I use the word spirituality because I had always prayed to Jesus and seldom to God. I felt and experienced other forces that I knew were not from me or others, good as well as bad. And I, from time to time, gave in to sin and was very unhappy. I disliked confession and never did believe in it. One night I said to myself, "what is the point of confession if I am to sin again no matter how minor or small?" And I thought about the bible who quoted Jesus, "Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect." Can we be perfect? I asked myself. If it is impossible for people to be perfect, then why did Jesus teach it? Perhaps, we don't know the way, was my thought. I prayed long and hard that night with all that I was. The next day at work, I was looking at stock information to trade but typed in the word 'LOVE' on a search engine and stumbled onto the Padgett's messages. I started reading it and my mind was troubled with the source as claimed and the disputes about certain aspects of the doctrine of Catholicism that I had learned and accepted for many years. But my soul rejoiced with the content of the messages. So I prayed to Jesus (my habit and comfort) for guidance and continued to read, pray, and learned. I have since studied more on the history of the bible and how the churches came into being and how they derived their doctrines. (Long process and still learning.) This quest is really more to satisfy the mind, mine as well as others when I speak to them.

My mind no longer fight me as soul as far as doubt is concerned, however and on occasions, the mind still carries negative thoughts although very few and minor or trivial when compared to before. My sense for the Celestial Spirits as well as other spirits in this earth has been clearer and more accute. I continue to pray for the Divine Love and no longer feel the tingling sensation as before when I first started. I felt the opening up of my soul. This happens recently or in the last one month. Before that, I felt the pressure or pulsation in the chest area. As we pray for more Divine Love, our faith will increase, which will help the inflowing of God's Love. And as I receive more of His Love, certain knowledge would come that helps me see the Real world from the insanity that "man" has created that we have blindly believed in. And so much more...

In my recent conversation with a friend, I asked him the difference between believe and faith. No answer was really given and I proposed that for most of us, faith at the present time is no different than the church has asked everyone to blindly believe.

I like Hans' paraphrase (I think it was from Hans?) to the effect, God can be a great teacher if we let HIM. So trust in God for your soul development and pray with intensity and with all that you are for HIS LOVE and the Holy Spirit will respond and you will know and don't have to believe. For me, I have realized the mind is really designed to activate God's Love after we have obtained IT in order to exemplify and to give to our brothers and sisters. That is HIS WILL for us.

Jesus said to first love God with all our heart and soul and to love one another. To love God, we will receive HIS LOVE. Only then can we truly give Love to one another for one cannot give something one does not have.

Welcome, and I pray that God's Love fill your soul in abundance.

To all my brothers and sisters in Christ, I have read your answers to my questions and am deeply moved, because of your responses and truly helpful assertions. I am like a babe, in that, I am just beginning with my new birth, although I believe God has been trying to love me for many years,I with my free will did not respond. In 1987 I became disabled and am wheelchair bound as a result. I blamed God for my affliction, I cursed at my Lord and have been repenting ever since. Foe the sake of time I will try to be concise. I was paralyzed for two years at the onset, but with the help of wonderful people, I have regained enough of my faculties to be independent. And now 17 years later I realize it was truly God through those people who helped me. Now I tell family and friends that I was blessed with this affliction simply in that I have drawn closer to my God. They look at me with complete bewilderment, for I know had this not happened, I would still be chasing the good times, women and drugs and alcohol. I praise God I am not that man. I believe it is not the maturity of years that has brought me here, but God's mercy and grace. I thank God for this forum and every one of it's members, for I am truly blessed to have found you. I love all of you, Don

As Harry has mentioned obtaining Divine Love is obtained in various levels. When I pray I seem to reach a limit per session and then experience, what I then call, a spiritual hangover. For the next day or so I have a pressure sensation in chest, not painful but an almost pleasureable reminder of my interaction with God.

It is like my soul is not just an empty vessel being filled, but being a complex body of its own. It is like Divine Love is first stored in a stomage, being processed, after which it nourishes the rest of the soul body, transforming it. Maybe the analogy is that this 'stomage' is what is causing the longing effect.

The mechanics of how the soul works and what Divine love really is will not be understood by us, only by God.

Divine love transforms you. Don't look for material change. Don't look for more money, success. The things you crave for will change. You will lose the fear of death, which is a dangerous thing. Being Loved by God brings its own miracles. Don't crave the material. Crave for the Love of God and other things will be added on to you. I never understood this until I have experienced it. Expect changes in your life. Your cool friends will start to look empty. You will at first be aware of the evil you do, then try to avoid to do the evil and eventually not do it out of default.

You will become 'obsessed' with Divine Love. It is your destiny. You will crave it forever.

Keep in mind the company you are in, on this site. We do not get any bonus points for bringing in a member, converting you. We do not get money nor recognition. We do not put fear in your heart by promising hell and pain if you do not convert. Infact, even if you die one day without actually praying for Divine Love you can still be saved and progress by remembering the Gift of God after death. The company you are in now are people that has experienced Divine Love personally in their own souls. This is not an informercial with profit advantages for group. This is between you and God.

Lastly, being a misguided Christian. That doubt in you mind. Your minister/priest condemning you to hell. Your family rejecting you. Forget about it!! If you want, at first, keep your old beliefs in such a way that you don't feel you 'blaspheme' your upbringing beliefs. But pray for Divine Love to God the Father as a parallel prayer. Most Christians should not have a problem with it. God will guide you. Take the first step, as you already have 3 times a day. Rather make a move than just procrastinating. This is my suggestion to the others that has not already made the commitment.

For other religions like Islam, etc... pray to Allah etc.. for the same thing. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD! If you aim to any one of 'Them' you will find the right One.

Tiger, don't try to comprehend this awesome Love. Your mind is weak and will mislead you. Rather experience it with your soul. Give it time. You are going to do this for all eternity and loving it.

Love you all.

My dear brother Don,

Welcome. I don't think I need to add anything to what has been said. The Divine Love itself will teach you that it is True. You will have your answer, and as Victor said, it's addictive.

Much love,
Geoff.

Tiger...are these guys wonderful, or what? :)

With all this advice you can't go wrong.

Prayer can be just as effective as a soulful yearning in a fleeting moment. Pray!

Let your soul discern the truth.

Remember...your search for God is an individual one.

And, last but not least, a question. Do you think God would condemn you for praying for, living for or giving love?

God's speed and Love to you Tiger. I'm glad you found us, too.

To all my brothers and sisters in Christ, thank you Victor for your intelligient views. They are greatly appreciated. I already feel something, as the compelling desire to pray and converse with God is constantly in my heart and some old desires are seemingly fading away. I feel that I am in the correct spiritual progression. God has been knocking at my door for many years, I have finally welcomed him in. Thank you, with love, Don

Thanks Werner, alyn, all,

I suppose of all that caught my eye in the Pagett Messages it was the disclosure that Jesus was only a man. Somehow when he is presented as a creator son, or pre-existing high ranking celestial, it made his at-onement with the Father seem great, but unobtainable by me. Imagine recovering memory of your grand rank and station in the heavens one day and totally recalling everything about the home and station you left. With such a certainty in your mind, no doubt you could be quite bold about the trifles of this life. We find, however, that Jesus started from scratch just like us and earnestly longed for and prayed for an at-onement and thereby obtained it. He was not discovering himself, he was co-creating himself just as we can do. As he showed the way, I am most grateful. Don, somehow this puts a little starch in my sail. I join you in daily longing for and praying for more of the Divine Love.

love,

Harry,

Like Werner, I much agree. Although I was guided by my band of
Angels to the realization that Jesus became the Incarnation of
Love and that such was a path that we, too, could follow prior to
finding the Padgett messages, I did not really know how to go
about doing so until I was open enough to say 'What if?' as I read
the messages...and nothing has ever been the same since.

Don,

Something that has lightened my load was getting rid of some baggage I have carried around for a lifetime. I was able to rid myself of a belief in Jesus' virgin birth, Lucifer, Satan, a war in heaven, a Trinity, and all sorts of myths. We have much to accept by faith but having those things as part of our belief system was just a little too much. Now its simple. God is in heaven, I am here, and through prayer and longing, I can acquire the essence of his Divine Love.....continuously. 'Good riddance to bad rubbish' is an expression that I find myself saying inwardly. Oh, to be sure, I will continue to dissect verse by verse and perform an autopsy of everything as is my nature.....but it truly isn't necessary. If I do so, it will be to enable me to better present the messages to persons who have yet to read them. Hopefully, in time they will be able to read me and it will carry some weight. By faith, I will not discount that possibility.

your brother,
harry

Hi guys

The one thing to consider is the following: As Harry said he rid himself of all the false beliefs of satan etc... So in theory we should have lost our fear of all these things that actually kept people in line for 2000 years. From a objective point of view this would have allowed us to sin beyond our wildest dreams, killing, stealing and whatever, without having to go to hell forever!

But yet we are now more in line with good and love than ever before. Our 'fences' have been removed and with the vision of Love we now accept our position relative to God and everything else.

With Love comes more knowledge...

With knowledge comes more freedom ...

With freedom comes more responsibility...

The knowledge of good and evil is now in those who owns Love.

Harry, as you said :"Now its simple". If we suddenly lose all the books in the world including the bible and Padgett (and related) messages, then religion defaults to your real contact with God. We tend to dissect scriptures, but that is not religion. There is no Love, knowledge and purpose in performing an autopsy on scriptures. They are teaching tools.

Love you all.
