DLD
I wish to invite you all to participate in the first ever Divine Love Day! It is to be a day set aside to celebrate together in the Divine Love of the Father. This inaugural day would be a positive and uniting experience for all who participate with Divine Love. I came upon this idea last week that a Divine Love Day that happens once every year would give us all an opportunity to share in our love of the Father in the way in which each of us sees fit and to know that on this day, all over the world we are all in celebration. I know that for most we are with the Father each day, but to have a calendar date to mark this event that can bring us all together is great and would be a wonderful experience.

There is a world "Angel Day" that has existed for some time now, with millions of participants, in fact there are many "natural spiritual" days that celebrate their respective goodness and experience, so lets have a Divine Love Day (Smile). More people will come to know about the Divine Love and perhaps wish to celebrate with us as well. I give you a few months to get ready for the party and for our first Divine Love Day: 11th Dec., 2005, and subsequently to be run on the second Sunday of Dec. annually. I just love the idea that all over the world souls love the Father and that we will know that we are doing this together on this Day.

I have canvassed this idea with a few others, and they are as excited as I am and we are really keen to get this ball rolling. Michael Nedbal was really positive and thought it was a super idea, and so Hawaii is getting ready. For some it might just be a walk with the Father; for others a healing day or prayer circle...the important thing is to do what ever feels right for you to celebrate the Father and the Divine Love. It will also be a date for the Celestial Souls to draw close to us and to the Father. A day of Celestial and Earthly inspiration and union, wonderment and joy. I hope you are free to enjoy this day with me. Spread the word (smile). Our first DLD is on the 11th of Dec.2005.

Wow - what an enthusiastic thread! As Zara mentioned earlier I think DLD is a great idea! I’m willing to devote a web page on my site to DLD. The more souls learn of Divine Love the better – right! And the opportunity to receive God’s Divine Love certainly calls for celebration.

Dear DLF friends, 8-18-05

Its very interesting I was just getting a similar idea a few minutes ago over dinner. The idea was for a Divine Love Peace Project which would serve to bring the knowledge an experience of divine love to transform souls. It will have several facets. One of which would be an annual event to celebrate the Divine Love, Peace and Healing. These events could be world wide with a connection to a website. Some could be in-house prayer circles, others could be larger events outdoors, in auditoriums or churches complete with music, dance and prayer for divine love.
Perhaps we could write a simplified version of a prayer for Divine Love and peace on earth. Or a song, as the EARTHDANCE song/prayer for peace, which will be played by hundreds of groups in 120 countries around the world Sept. 17 th. - 7 pm EST.
See - http://www.earthdance.org/2005/home.html

As you say this Divine Love Day could help bring awareness to the need for DL to heal the soul and bring peace to the individual. Eventually as souls pray for peace and divine love the nations of whole world will live in peace, harmony and security. Only divine love can bring about this brotherhood we so long for.

Dec. 11, '05.
Actually, I was thinking of sometime around the annual gathering so that a larger event could be collectively organized as an outreach by the DLF.

Some Churches like Unity, Unitarian, Divine Love Alliance could be interested to combine efforts for such an event.

Perhaps we could have a -
Divine Love Day - in Dec. 11, '05 - Christ Mass and a
Divine Love Peace Day in June 4th, 2006 - Day of Pentecost
When the day of Pentecost had come, the disciples were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit . . .
thanks for sharing,

love and peace,

Greg

Dear Gregory,

Thank you for your post regarding your ideas. Firstly I would like to introduce myself; I am Zara. Your own vision seems quite extensive and interesting. There has been so much enthusiasm about Divine Love Day, that for all to celebrate the Father together around the world in Divine Love will be wonderful.

Hi Greg,

I was also thinking (as you may be) that December 11 in the northern hemisphere is a very different scene from what it must be in Australia. The weather has turned harsh, and everyone's hunkered down, preparing for family reunions, hectic travel plans, and Christmas gift shopping. I suppose in Australia people are going to outdoor concerts and enjoying the countryside. So there may be some logistic challenges to having a worldwide celebration on the same day.

I don't suppose there's any harm in having two similar celebrations six months apart. Why we could even schedule the second celebration for June 11, to make it balanced. ;)

It would be a little difficult to schedule the DLF gathering to coincide with a celebration on a specific date, however, since the gathering's date changes each year, in response to weather and other conditions, depending on where it's being held. A Florida gathering needs to be held in late spring, the New York gathering needed early summer, and a Santa Cruz gathering might work best in late summer, when the weather is nicest.

Anyway, I certainly like the idea of getting some of these other churches and groups involved. We could rent a stadium, and give Billy Graham a run for his money.

It's good to have dreams...

Gregory Boster

Hi, Doug and all,
I think Billy Graham is retired now. But I know your were kidding anyway.
Actually I talked with some ministers of several churches locally who were interested to do something. But they all usually have their own agenda, like growing their own church. However I think they could get over that in order to be a part of something with other churches focusing on the power of Divine Love to heal and bring peace to the planet. Hey its worth a try.

Below is just an example of a way it could happen with Divine Love Day
------------------------
The highlight of the Earthdance event is a simultaneous dance-floor link up, when every event across the world plays the Prayer for Peace.* Morning in the Australian rainforest, midnight in London, and sunrise over the Himalayas, the Prayer for Peace is a profound and powerful moment that unifies our intentions for World peace and healing.

http://earthdance.org/

the Prayer for Peace

"We are one global family
All colors, All races
One world united.
We dance for peace and the healing of our planet Earth
Peace for all nations.
Peace for our communities.
And peace within ourselves.
As we join all dance floors across the world,
let us connect heart to heart.
Through our diversity we recognize Unity.
Through our compassion we recognize Peace.
Our love is the power to transform our world
Let us send it out
NOW..."

As you can see from this prayer it is a great prayer and incredible concept. However its still only all about our natural love. I think the world is now ready for the "real thing". Divine Love is the greatest power in the Universe. Any musicians want to give a try at coming up with a sweet little prayer song?

Oh, by the way does anyone know where I could find the messages that came through to the Foundation Church of the New Birth about having "home churches and study groups"?

thanks,
love and light
Greg :p

Dear Doug and Greg,

Firstly so many people have responded to Divine Love Day in such a positive way. The essence of Divine Love Day is uncomplicated and needs not to be made complicated for this diminishes the beauty of it. To have this day that is open and free and for us all to share in our own experience of the Father without strings attached I feel is why people have been so receptive. Because the whole world has different times and seasons, there will always be these differences. It is an obvious fact. I am not prepared to intellectualise or distract from the simple essence of this day, because so many have understood and wish to celebrate this essence of this day.

I feel that you are right, there could be a day in the middle of the year and its agenda could be the healing and peace aspect that Greg has so enthusiastically mentioned but that would be for you to organise, and I will join you there. I am going ahead with all those lovely souls who have already said that they will be there, and together we are looking forward to our inaugural Divine Love Day. I hope you too will join in the spirit of this day.

Regards,
Zara

Not to worry, Zara, the entire Santa Cruz Contingent will be celebrating DLD right along with you on Dec. 11 -- all four or five of us. ;)

When we get to the point of holding celebrations in stadiums, then we might want to schedule them for the Summer; but for now, our little living room meeting place is cozy all year round. We'll be there!

Hi, yall,
Sorry, I didnt mean to confuse things with my visions of masses, music and (divine) magic. Of course we start with what we have. We should not be to surprised when we get similar visions even though we are half a world from each other.
Now that I think about it this is something that was brewing in my consciousness a few months ago. I feel Dec. 11th is perfect. It could serve to bring a new consciousness to the whole season of Christmas.
I was wondering if you could elaborate Zara, please restate your vision of Divine Love Day?

thanks,

Dear Greg,

It is a pleasure to have read your post and it will be wonderful to have your participation at the Divine Love Day on December 11th. You are quite right it will be amazing to have us all, around the globe, sharing a day in Divine Love just before Christmas. You seem to have a very positive energy, and great enthusiasm in your experience of Divine Love. It is not unusual for people in different parts of the world to be thinking along the same lines.

My inspiration and vision for the Divine Love Day came in a prayer to the Father. It was to create a day that united us all to share in the Divine Love of the Father. Each person is free to contribute and share this day of celebration as they feel is right for them. It is very simple, and in its essence, a celebration of love and of our shared love of the Father. There is more in the initial post.

I am sure your participation will make this day wonderful, and everyone is very enthusiastic about our first inaugural Divine Love Day.

Respectfully,
Zara

Brothers and Sisters,

I just thought I'd bump this thread back up to the top so that we can note
that there are less than two months to take action with regard to posting
notices on web sites, sharing the message with other groups, etc.

Time to mark your calendars.

Here’s a thought, Zara. One way to help people learn about this new celebration would be to make a web page about it. Perhaps you’d like to design such a page? Web page design can be lots of fun (mixed in usually with some amount of Techno-frustration). I (or possibly Michael) could help you with the technical aspects of placing the page on a server. Unfortunately I’m not able to volunteer time to design the actual page, though.

Just a thought…

Good morning, dear Sandy,

It's so nice to hear from you again. Maybe you can join us in some conversations and let us know what's going on in your life, these days.

Even though I love the idea of having a special celebration of a Divine Love Day, it feels to me that we celebrate it every day, and at least every week when we gather for prayer and discussion.

Amy has been invited to visit her friend, Alma, and her parents in Puerta Vallarta, so won't be here next weekend. She will be praying for God's Love wherever she is located.

God bless you and keep you safe and happy. With love, your sister in Christ, Kathryn

Thank you Kathryn and Zara !
How are you doing that, Kathryn, to make people always feel sooooo welcome ?? Well, I dare guess ... so much Love ! :)
This has been an interesting year to me so far, with many lessons to learn. I learnt alot about my weaknesses, but also that I am able to give love, and that there are people out there welcoming my love - if only for a moment in time. Travel-wise I`ve changed plans - ending up at the german north sea coast for a few days in summer and in Merano, Italy, for about a week in October. Work is still the same - just a means of making money, but not as inspiring as I would wish it to be. I still write reviews for amazon when I find time, I read alot (besides the Padgett messages currently "The chronicles of Narnia", the "Coversations with God" triology and Tim Pears` "In a land of plenty") and try to reduce the winter`s cold as far as possible by enjoying warm baths, a cup of herbal tea every day, a visit at a sauna just around the corner once a week and much time enveloped by a woolen blanket, listening to nice music, dreaming and praying. I`m looking forward to both Divine Love Day tomorrow and Christmas in two weeks from now. Divine Love Day is certainly every day, but I admit it: I am a little holiday junkie, so why not celebrating one which was created out of the beliefs my heart rejoices in ?? :D HAPPY DIVINE LOVE DAY WHEREEVER YOU ARE !!

Much Love to all, Sandy

Dear brothers & sisters in Christ,

Perhaps we might share our experience of Divine Love Day & how we celebrated it. Actually tomorrow is DL day however it was today that my family participated in a love celebration.

Debbie, Rory and I picked up our daughter, Holley & our grandson, Jaxon (8 months old) at the airport in Dallas, Texas & drove 600 miles to New Mexico. Today about 70 family members came from many states to celebrate Debbie's grandmother's 90th birthday. A really cool video production of her life was presented as well as a mega scrap book of her children & grandchildren. A custom quilt was given as a gift to her with hearts of all the familes names & the anniversary dates of spouces & complete with grandchildren. It was a teary eyed event for many & a wonderful testament to the great love & solidarity of her family. Though I didn't publicly speak to the Divine Love, it was a wonderful experience to participate in this natural love celebration.

Love,

Dan

Hi, and a happy Divine Love Day to one and all!

We have had a most beautiful, peaceful and splendid day here in Melbourne. We were lucky to have a sunny day and in the afternoon a few gathered in the park where we prayed to the Father and were surrounded in the peacefulness of the Love. We all felt at this time, to declare our love of and to the Father, as we loved Him with our prayers.

After the gardens some of us returned to our home where we drank tea and enjoyed really good and hearty conversation and laughter for another 4 hours, talking about our year with the Father and the experiences shared. It was quite good for we could also share a lot of our very early experiences, and we could feel how much the Divine Love had changed and enriched our lives. After some yummy dinner, the evening was starlit and lots of good feelings Nicholas, Rod and I could really see how the Father had been with us each the whole day long.

I hope that you all have a lovefilled Divine Love Day.

With love,
Zara and Nicholas

This is a message that our friend Rod has just sent to us, so I include it in our celebration:
Today I spent my day with the Fathers Divine Love nestled with friends in a glorious sun filled afternoon, and into the warm still evening

Our first Divine Love Day, although in my truth each and every day is in fact a Divine Love Day, this day the 11th of December 2005, was so much more, and with such beauty and abounding love, that within my soul is a complete peace and comfort to know soulfully that the Father through the workings of the Holy Spirit, manifested and invested into our souls a huge drop of Divine Love, and to know and recognise the availability for all to receive this Love into their souls, is a truly beautiful experience. Sincerity in likeness to be a part of this Day with Zara and Nicholas, the two souls that introduced and afforded the now years of conversations and love, has been a blessing beyond my once even quite vivid imagination. How wonderful it is, that today in our mortal world, we have a day to embrace through our souls in the Fathers Love.

May each and every one of you have such a blessed day

Love to each and every one

Rod

Hi friends,
Just want to say Happy Divine Love Day. Thank goodness I came by ( I had forgotten). Don't forget my head because it's attached...haha.

It's nice that we celebrate this in December & in the Holiday Season, the Christmas Season that for me is the meaning of when Divine Love was sent to Earth in the form of Jesus & for Him to show us the way. I know the dates are all wrong but I'll always think of December and Christmas that way. ( I hope not to offend anyone by saying Christmas . )

May our souls receive an avalach of Divine Love snow flakes that sparkle and light our hearts and souls. I wish this for all us us, our families and the whole earth.
Love
Maria.

Dear Maria and other Divine Love friends,

Thank you for your Happy Divine Love Day wishes. I'm feeling blessed, uplifted and happy. I can be assured that this is because of God's Divine Love in my soul. Some day we may call every Sunday 'Divine Love day', or then in the future, perhaps every day will be Divine Love Day, as we progress and are taken over by the Love.

It's good to start with Once A Year Celebration to bring people's attention to existence of God's great Gift of Divine Love. We were discussing in our meeting today about the spirit world and we have believed in its existence for so long that I forget that there are many people who don't even believe there's a spirit world. It seems to me that some changes may be happening. Many people are having NDE's and come back to tell about them.

God bless you, beloved friends, keep up your wonderful prayers and have peace and joy during your holidays.

With Love, your sister in God's Love, Kathryn

Dear Zara, Maria & Kathryn & Divine Lovers,

My family & I drove 600 miles today from one side of Texas to another as we returned from a family holiday celebration in New Mexico. I prefered to think that my celebration of the Father's Love was realized yesterday in sharing with Debbie's family at their grande reunion.

Maria, I liked your idea that it's appropriate that Divine Love Day is in the Christmas holiday season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Kathryn has shared that she prefers to not celebrate Christmas with presents as the holiday is mired in materialism. Expectations for things runs high this time of year as having Divine Love Day close to Christmas helps me to focus on what Jesus brought as his gift to us. Jesus' gift , is manifest in his desire to lead us to the Father's Love. He sacrificed not his life in death but in his personal sacrifice for a family & marriage to become a servant for God. Jesus sacrificed all personal ambition & thru selflessness, became as a mouthpiece for God's Love, leading the way ahead into the Celetial Heavens.

Now Christmas has a bonus with Divine Love Day as we celebrate the true reason for the season, the Father's Love. Being a householder in the role of father & husband means that I still need to play the gift game as this role has it's expectations from my significant others. So I will fulfill my role in these respects & yet knowing the real meaning of Christmas in my heart. Chistmas this year has that exta bonus as I reflect more deeply on the Divine Love & it's presense in my life.

Thank you Zara & Nicholas for your inspiration in intoducing Divine Love Day.

Your loving friend,

Dan

What a trek! 600 miles. But am sure it was worth it. A nice gift of the Father to you of a loving family celebration.

We do the gift thing too . I would rather skip that part of it, & have yet to buy the first thing. Maybe that's why I usally go nuts about 3 days before. But I'm thinking about putting on the cards "Happy Birthday Jesus" instead of "Santa".

Love you all.

From all the feedback I have received, this first Divine Love Day was wonderful and the second Divine Love Day in a years time will be welcome for all and most joyous.

Dear Zara and Loving friends,

Wow, here comes the closing of one year and the opening of yet another in the Divine Love. Thank you for spearheading this special day Zara, as it as much about individual celebration of our soul's transformation as it is in group celebration. Last year I was alone in rememberance of this day and that was ok, as it was nonetheless a thanksgiving of the Divine Love for me. It is as well, a special bonus when several can share together on Divine Love Day. May everyone's Divine Love Day be an event to remember.

Love and Peace to All,
Dan

Greetings fellow Divine Lovers,

Today is Divine Love Day, a special time of global celebration in the Father's Divine Love. This is the second Divine Love Day, created by our lovely sister, Zara last December.

May this day be a time of joy, quiet reflection and prayer for our Heavenly Father's Divine Love. Deb, Rory and I are going out into the woods today in a special place I have prayed in before. We will form our special circle of love together and worship our Father's Love in prayer and thanksgiving for this special gift. My prayer is that you too find a special moment today and reflect on the Great Gift that was given so graciously to you by our Creator.

Peace and joy.

Love to all,

Hi Ray,

Happy Divine Love Day sweet brother. Got your pm thanks and I'll get back to later on that. Deb, my son Rory (17) and I walked out into the woods today and remembered that this was the place we prayed when we first looked at this land that we now live on(10 years ago). Deb and I had no money however felt that we were destined to live on this land. A complete stranger to us (friend of our realtor) offered to owner finance the land which was a miracle to us. So today we stood in this same place, a large circle in the hardwoods about 50 ft. in diameter and held hands in our little circle and prayed for the Father's Divine Love. It was a special moment for me and my family.

I pray that this day has been especially kind to you dear Ray in the outpouring of God's Love into your heart.

Your loving brother and friend,
Dan

cmas is such a special time of the Year, for it seems that wo/mankind is a little bit happy and thoughts turn to giving instead of receiving!

our neighborhood has great xmas spirit and the ornaments are breathtaking! the colors spectacular! we drove the neighborhood last night in awe, looking for our little doggie (found him!).

Yet for all the displays only one made us stop! there were the wise men gathered around the baby Jesus, the cattle were lowing and the donkey seemed to worship too!

what a wonderful story it all is-how the baby Jesus came down to Earth to save us all! and save us he did, from who knows what fate. he told us of a Great and Loving Father only a prayer away and the rest is history!

what a glorious day! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! and much love this xmas from my family to all on this board! john
